Overview

The FTP Notifications Tab allows you to configure alerts for failed deliveries. By setting up notifications, you or other team members can be promptly informed whenever a delivery to a client fails.

Key Functionality

  • Assign notifications to specific users within your team.

  • Receive alerts via email and/or SMS when a delivery failure occurs.

  • Ensure timely awareness of delivery issues, reducing the risk of missed or delayed follow-ups.

  • Option to enable or disable Send Notification Failure.

How to Use This Feature

  1. Navigate to the FTP Notifications Tab.

  2. Select the users who should receive notifications when a delivery fails.

  3. Choose the notification method:

    • Email

    • SMS

  4. Check the box for Send Notification Failure to activate alerts.

  5. Save your settings.

Best Practices

  • Assign at least one primary user to receive all failure notifications to avoid gaps in awareness.

  • Use email notifications as the default method to minimize SMS costs.

  • Regularly review notification assignments to ensure that the correct team members are receiving updates.

Troubleshooting

  • Not receiving notifications?

    • Confirm the correct user(s) are selected in the tab.

    • Check spam/junk folders for email notifications.

    • Ensure phone numbers are correct for SMS alerts.

  • High SMS costs?

    • Switch notifications to email-only or limit SMS notifications to critical team members.
