Overview
Creating a client account is a straightforward process, but it does involve a few connected pieces. You're not just setting up your client's basic information—you're also configuring how you'll deliver leads to them technically (their Delivery Methods) and the rules that govern those deliveries (their Delivery Accounts).
Think of it this way:
Client Profile: Who they are (company name, contact info, billing details).
Delivery Method: The technical pipe - how the data gets sent (webhook, email, ping-post, etc.).
Delivery Account: The business rules - which leads they get, when, and at what price.
The good news? LeadExec gives you a couple of flexible ways to get this done.
Two Ways to Create Client Accounts
Method 1: AI Assist
Our AI Assist feature walks you through client creation using a simple chat-like interface. It's designed to get your client accounts set up in just a few minutes. This is recommended for any type of user—whether you're familiar with LeadExec or similar platforms, or if it's something entirely new to you.
Before you start, have this information handy:
Your client's company name and email address
The Lead Type you'll be selling to them
Their preferred delivery schedule (days of the week and time windows)
The channel you'll use to distribute leads (Lead Portal, webhook, ping/post, chat, phone, etc.)
Any posting instructions your client has provided
Once you've gathered these details, just follow the AI Assist prompts. It will guide you through each step, asking for the right information at the right time. No menu-diving required.
Method 2: Manual Creation
Recommended for users who are familiar with LeadExec or similar platforms.
If you prefer to build everything by hand or need more control over the details, manual creation is the traditional approach. It takes a bit more time, but it also gives you complete visibility into every setting throughout.
We have a series of step-by-step knowledge articles that walk you through the entire process:

Defining the business rules: pricing, delivery caps, criteria, and schedules.
A time-saving tip: Once you've manually created a client and configured their Delivery Methods and Accounts, you can export those configurations as templates. This lets you quickly spin up new clients with similar setups, just tweak a few details and you're done.
