Overview

LeadExec allows the ability to bypass the distribution system and target a specific client for delivery by using Force IDs. This feature is particularly useful when you have a contact form that targets leads for a specific client. By utilizing Force IDs, you can ensure that leads are delivered in real-time directly to an exclusive client.

Key Functionality

  1. Bypass Distribution System

    • Use Force IDs to route leads directly to a specific client, bypassing the standard distribution system.

  2. Customizable Client Field Mapping

    • Map incoming Force ID values to a specific client field, allowing for customized lead targeting.

  3. Real-Time Lead Delivery

    • Ensure that leads are delivered immediately to the designated client, facilitating prompt follow-up and action.

How to Use This Feature

  1. Create a ForceID Field in Lead Type

    • Navigate to your lead type settings and create a new field named ForceID.

    • Set the system field to ForceID to designate this field for Force ID purposes.

  2. Map Force ID to Client Field

    • By default, LeadExec uses the ClientID as the ForceID.

    • If you need to use a different client field, go to Settings > Clients.

    • Update the dropdown to select the client field you wish to use for Force ID mapping.

    • For example, if your form system has specific IDs, you can request ClickPoint support to create a custom client field, such as form ID, to map to the incoming Force ID value.

  3. Send Leads with Force ID

    • When submitting leads, include the mapped Force ID value in the corresponding field.

    • LeadExec will route the lead to the client associated with the specified Force ID.

Best Practices

  • Consistent Field Naming: Ensure that the field names used for Force IDs are consistent across your lead forms and LeadExec settings to avoid mapping errors.

  • Regular Updates: Regularly review and update your client field mappings to accommodate any changes in your lead generation processes.

  • Testing: Before deploying changes to production, test the Force ID functionality to ensure that leads are correctly routed to the intended clients.

Troubleshooting

  • Leads Not Delivered to Expected Client:

    • Verify that the Force ID field is correctly populated in the incoming lead data.

    • Check that the Force ID value matches the client field mapping in LeadExec.

    • Ensure that the client associated with the Force ID is active and has the appropriate delivery settings configured.

  • Force ID Field Not Recognized:

    • Confirm that the field is named exactly as ForceID and is set as a system field in the lead type settings.

    • If using a custom client field for mapping, ensure that it is properly configured in the client settings.
