Overview

Exclusive Groups allow a Lead Source Campaign to deliver to a specific set of clients contained in an Exclusive Group. Once you create an Exclusive Group, the LeadExec user can assign clients to that group. Exclusive Groups are relevant when routing leads from web forms to be directed to a single buyer, client, or sales team.

How to Set Up

  1. In the left-hand menu, navigate to Inbound.

  2. Locate the Groups section, then click Exclusive Delivery.

  3. Click the Create button in the upper menu. This will open the Exclusive Group details menu.

  4. Give a name to your exclusivegroup using the Description field.

  5. Set a Send Preference:

    1. Limit sending to only one item in the group

    2. Allow sending to multiple items in the group

  6. Once created, you can open up your Exclusive Group and assign specific Client Accounts.

How to Enable Exclusive Groups at the Campaign-Level

  1. To apply an Exclusive Group to a Campaign, navigate to the the Lead Source List view

  2. Open the desired Lead Source

  3. Go to the Campaigns section and the desired campaign.

  4. Scroll at the bottom of the General Settings tab, then find the Delivers To drodpwon, and select the Exclusive Group you want this Campaign to route leads to.

  5. Once done, hit Save.

Now, when a lead is received from a Lead Source tied to that group, the system will only deliver to one client located within that group and will ignore all other clients located in the system.

Best Practices

  • Be mindful of using clear, specific naming conventions to better identify your groups.

  • Keep in mind that delivery eligibility at the Campaign-level is set to any qualified clients by default.

Troubleshooting

  • Leads are not routed to specific client groups: review your exclusive group settings to ensure you're assigning the correct clients, or assign them at the campaign-level.

  • I've created new client accounts by exporting an existing client's setup and then importing them, and now this new client is receiving leads that are exclusive to the original's group: when exporting and importing a cient's setup, you'll be replicating everything in their set up as of that moment, so ensure that you're manually adjusting specific features to match your and your clients' needs—in this case, ensure that the client's campaign is not assigned to the incorrect delivery group
