Overview

The Portal Permissions Tab defines what elements your clients can see or interact with in the Client Portal, enhancing control over their experience. You can configure whether to display IVR call details, allow file attachments, or show analytic data such as referrer and search term information.

Key Functionality

  • IVR Call Information
Displays details related to IVR calls when sending IVR-based leads to the Client Portal.

  • File Attachments
Allows the Client Portal to show or accept file attachments associated with leads.

  • Analytic Data
If your system supports analytics, enables the display of metadata like referrer source and search term.

How to Use This Feature

  1. Access the Portal Permissions Tab
Navigate to your Lead Portal Delivery Method settings, then select the Portal Permissions tab.

  2. Toggle IVR Call Information
Check or uncheck the option to control whether clients can see IVR call details.

  3. Enable or Disable File Attachments
Use this setting to allow file attachments to be viewed or uploaded in the Client Portal.

  4. Show Analytic Data
Toggle this on if you want clients to see analytics such as referring sources or search keywords.

  5. Save Your Changes
Confirm your selection and save to update client portal visibility settings.

Best Practices

  • Match Settings to Client Needs
Offer only the controls your client needs, e.g., enable file attachments when delivering forms, but disable analytic data if privacy is a concern.

  • Balance Transparency and Security
Providing IVR details and analytics can build trust, but ensure sensitive information is appropriately managed.

  • Test in Portal
Always verify how changes appear in the Client Portal to ensure clarity and usability.

Troubleshooting

  • Options Not Visible
Make sure you're in the correct tab under the configured Lead Portal Delivery Method.

  • Changes Not Reflected in Portal
Confirm you clicked Save after adjusting permissions; refresh the portal if needed.
