Overview

Use the Lead Portal Notifications Tab to configure alerts for your team when a lead delivery to the client portal fails. You can designate users to receive notifications via email and/or SMS to stay proactive about delivery issues. (SMS charges may apply.)

Key Functionality

  • Delivery Failure Alerts
Enable notifications for lead delivery failures so relevant team members are immediately informed.

  • Custom Recipient Selection
Choose specific users who will receive the alerts, tailoring responses to organizational roles.

  • Multiple Delivery Channels
Notifications can be sent via email, SMS, or both, depending on urgency and preference. (SMS charges may apply.)

Best Practices

  • Include On-Call Personnel
Add team members who can promptly address delivery issues to receive failure alerts.

  • Use Dual Channels for Redundancy
Enable both email and SMS to ensure no alert gets overlooked due to inbox congestion.

  • Set Expectations with Clients
Predefine internal response times to failure alerts so clients don’t notice delays.

Troubleshooting

  • Notifications Not Being Sent
Ensure the Send Notification Failure option is checked and recipients are correctly selected. Also, confirm that SMS is enabled if chosen.

  • Unexpected SMS Charges
Be aware that SMS alerts may incur fees, confirm that the sending account is properly configured.
