Use the Ping Post Notifications Tab to create notifications for you or another team member for failed ping-post deliveries to the client.

Overview

The Notifications Tab enables automated alerts when ping-post deliveries fail to reach clients. Receive immediate email or SMS notifications to quickly address delivery issues and maintain lead flow efficiency.

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Access the Notifications Tab in your Ping-Post delivery method

  2. Enable Failure Alerts:

    • Toggle Send Notification on

  3. Select Recipients:

    • Click +Add Recipient

    • Choose team members from the user list

      • Consider including relevant team members such as:

        • Account manager for the client

        • Support team members

        • Operations manager

  4. Choose Notification Methods:

    • Email: Recommended for all failures (no cost)

    • SMS: Reserve for critical/time-sensitive deliveries (costs apply)

  5. Click Save

  1. Recipient Strategy:

    • Primary: Operations team for immediate action

    • Secondary: Account managers for client communication

    • Tertiary: Technical team for system issues

  2. Alert Management:

    • Prefer the use of email notifications for all failure types

    • Reserve SMS for high-value lead failures

    • Establish escalation procedures for repeated failures

  3. Cost Control:

    • Monitor SMS notification volume monthly

    • Adjust SMS alerts based on lead value and urgency

    • Review notification logs quarterly for optimization
