Overview

Campaigns in LeadExec enable sophisticated lead routing from a single lead source to multiple destinations. Each campaign operates through two fundamental settings that determine lead processing: Channel (delivery method) and Lead Type (lead classification). This flexible structure allows you to create specialized workflows for different lead acquisition methods.

Campaign Configuration Essentials

1. Channel Settings

Determine how leads enter your system:

2. Lead Type Settings

Classify leads for proper routing and processing:

  • Define categories (e.g., "Home Loan", "Auto Insurance")

  • Configure type-specific validation rules

Implementation Guide

  1. Create Campaign

    • Navigate to Lead Source → Campaigns → New

    • Select Channel appropriate for your lead source

  2. Configure Lead Type

    • Match to your existing lead classification system

    • Set default values for required fields

  3. Channel-Specific Setup

    • Follow the dedicated guide for your selected channel

    • Test submission flow before going live

Best Practices

  • Organization: Maintain consistent naming conventions

  • Testing: Validate each channel with sample leads

  • Monitoring: Review channel-specific performance metrics

  • Scalability: Create separate campaigns for distinct lead types

Troubleshooting

If leads aren't routing correctly:

  • Verify Channel and Lead Type assignments

  • Check for conflicting validation rules

  • Confirm third-party integrations are active
