LeadExec helps insurance lead sellers route each lead to buyers who purchase that insurance product in that area. You can set up an Insurance Lead Type, match buyers by product and geography, grade leads before they reach buyers, and sell leads through direct delivery or ping post. Insurance marketers are among the most common users of ping post.
How Does Insurance Lead Distribution Work in LeadExec?
Set up a Lead Type. A Lead Type is the category or vertical for your leads, such as Insurance. It sets what fields you capture and how they are validated. See Getting Started - Lead Type, Pt. 1: Creating a Lead Type.
Receive leads. Leads arrive through campaigns, such as a Web Lead Campaign for form leads or a Ping Post campaign for pinged leads. Include the Lead Source and Lead Type in the campaign name, for example Facebook_HomeInsurance. See Creating a Web Lead Campaign.
Validate and grade. LeadExec can check phone, email, address, IP, and required fields, then apply lead-grading rules.
Match buyers. LeadExec checks each buyer's product, geography, coverage, schedules, capacity, and pricing.
Deliver. The lead is delivered through the configured distribution method.
What Routing Rules Do Insurance Lead Sellers Use?
Match by product. An insurance lead seller may work with buyers who purchase different insurance products. A consumer requesting auto insurance should not go to a buyer that buys only homeowners insurance leads. See Buyer Qualification & Matching in LeadExec.
Match by geography and coverage. Route by state, ZIP code, service territory, radius around a ZIP code, or configured buyer coverage. If a buyer says it does not cover the consumer's location, the lead can continue to another eligible buyer.
Route by quality. Send higher-graded leads to distribution and send lower-graded leads to Quality Control or rejection. See Lead Quality Scoring & Quality-Based Routing in LeadExec.
Sell through ping post. Buyers bid on partial lead data before the full lead is posted. See LeadExec Ping Post Lead Distribution Explained.
Share documents with buyers. For document-heavy industries such as insurance, you can turn on File Attachments in the Portal Permissions tab of a Ping Post delivery method. See Ping Post Portal Permissions Tab.
What Compliance Settings Does LeadExec Offer?
The Compliance tab on a campaign has settings for LeadExec's TCPA, 1-to-1, and GDPR tools. See Ping Post Lead Campaign Advanced Settings.
TCPA: Turn on Enable TCPA Services, enter the TCPA form consent text (LeadExec uses default text if this is left blank), and enter the notification email. The reject lead for no consent option rejects leads when consent is not given.
Return Client Offers (1-to-1): LeadExec's Offers feature supports the FCC 1-to-1 ruling, which requires individual consumer consent for each company contacting them. See LeadExec Offers Overview: 1-to-1 Compliance.
GDPR: Set a Retention Policy and a Rejected Retention Policy for the number of days before leads are removed from the system.
Duplicate checks: Campaign settings can include duplicate checking before leads are distributed to buyers.
Example: How Does an Insurance Lead Move Through LeadExec?
This example is based on Lead Quality Scoring & Quality-Based Routing in LeadExec.
LeadExec receives an insurance lead from an online lead form.
Configured validation checks the consumer's phone number, email, address, IP information, and required fields.
LeadExec applies the lead-grading criteria. The lead receives a B grade.
The campaign rules are: A/B continue to distribution, C/D go to Quality Control, and F is rejected. Because the lead is a B, it continues.
LeadExec checks buyer requirements, such as geography, coverage, schedules, capacity, pricing, and campaign criteria.
The lead enters the configured distribution workflow, such as price, priority, ping post, or waterfall.
The lead is delivered to the selected buyer.
