Overview

For each Lead Type, you can define the acceptable reasons your clients can select when returning a lead through their Client Portal. If no reasons are set up, your clients will not have the option to return leads through their Portal.

Let's walk through how to configure return reasons for your Lead Type.

How to Configure Return Reasons

  1. Within your Lead Type, navigate to the Return Reasons section.

  2. In the text field provided, manually type each acceptable return reason you want to make available to your clients.

  3. After typing each reason, press Enter to add it to the list.

  4. Once you've entered all desired reasons, click Save Properties at the bottom of the section.

That's it. Your return reasons are now live and will appear in the Client Portal whenever a client initiates a return.

With your return reasons configured, your clients now have a clear, efficient way to communicate why a lead didn't work for them. This small step goes a long way toward smoother operations and better relationships with your buyers.

Now that you know how to give your clients clear return options, you're ready to move on to the next step:
