Adding a New Client Part II - Delivery Methods

Overview

In this second installment of the Client Setup Wizard, you’ll configure how leads are delivered to clients. Delivery methods define the technical channel—such as HTTP POST, email, SMS, FTP, or portal access—and ensure data formatting aligns with client requirements.

Step 1: Access the Delivery Methods Tab

  • After saving Contact Info in Part I, click Delivery Methods in the wizard.

  • Click Create to launch the delivery method setup form.

Step 2: Choose Your Delivery Type

Select one of the following based on your client’s needs:

Step 3: Complete Delivery Method Configuration

Adapt the inputs below depending on the selected type:

Common Settings

  • Name & Lead Type: Identify the channel and lead type

  • Environment: Choose Production or Testing mode.

  • Enable/Test Toggle: Activate delivery or test mode

Connection Settings

  • Webhook / Ping‑Post / Integration: Add URL, authentication (Basic/OAuth), and headers

  • Email / SMS: Enter sender/recipient details, subject, and template

  • FTP: Provide server address, directory, and credentials

Mapping & Formatting

  • Field Mappings: Define how each lead field maps to client requirements

  • Request Body Config: Specify JSON/XML structure or CSV format

  • Response Settings: For ping-post or integrations, define how to parse acceptance and revenue.

Retry & Notifications

  • Set retry attempts for failed deliveries

  • Optionally, notify team members via email/SMS upon failure

Part II equips you with the tools to configure technical delivery channels aligned with client needs and system workflows. With correctly set up delivery methods, you're ready to link to accounts and establish lead distribution logic in Part III.
